Get insured
Here's how getting insured with us actually goes.
No online quote, on purpose. Commercial coverage for dirt and snow work has to be built around your operation, and that takes a conversation. Here's what the conversation covers.
How it works
The steps
-
You call, or you send the form below.
(720) 529-0300 during business hours, Mountain time. Form submissions get a call back during business hours, usually the next business day.
-
We walk the operation.
Fifteen minutes. What you run, who you work for, where, and what prompted the call. A COI request, a renewal, a contract that wants $5M, a close call on a dig.
-
We ask for the list.
The items on the right. The more complete the equipment list and the contract exhibit, the better the underwriter reads you.
-
Options, with the tradeoffs out loud.
Scheduled or blanket equipment. Umbrella or higher underlying. What each contract clause is really asking for and what it costs you in coverage to say yes. We tell you what we'd do and why. You decide.
-
Bind, then certificates.
You say yes, we bind. Certificates usually go out the same business day; it depends on the carrier and what the holder is asking for. How certificate requests work.

Before the call
What to have ready
- Equipment list with rough values (year, make, model, hours if you have them). The $180,000 excavator and the $900 plate compactor both go on it.
- Payroll estimate split by what people actually do: operating, laboring, driving, office.
- Vehicle list with VINs, including the pickups that pull trailers and the truck with the plow on it.
- Current declarations pages, if you have a policy now. Or upload them here.
- A sample contract or insurance exhibit from your biggest customer (GC, HOA, property manager, municipality). This is the one most people skip and the one that changes the most.
- Loss runs if you have had a claim. Honest history gets a better read than a surprise later.
Don't have all of it? Send what you have. The equipment list and the biggest contract are the two that matter most.
Or just call
(720) 529-0300Business hours, Mountain time. If we're on a machine when you call, we call back.
After you say yes
What happens after
You get a person, not a portal. Certificate requests go through one page and come back with the wording the holder asked for. If something goes wrong on a job, the first hour is written down so you don't have to think. At renewal we ask what changed: new machine, new truck, added plowing, dropped a crew. The policy moves with the operation.
Where we work
Colorado only
Serving businesses located in Colorado. We are licensed here and nowhere else yet. If your business is in Colorado and works across a state line on occasion, say so on the call and we'll sort it with the carrier.
